ECBS360
Energy management platform

The energy back-office for multi-meter portfolios.

Track every contract, validate every charge, see every kilowatt-hour. From single high-consuming sites to portfolios of hundreds of properties.

The problem

Energy admin doesn’t scale on spreadsheets.

  • 01

    Contract sprawl.

Hundreds of MPANs, dozens of suppliers, multiple renewal windows in flight at once. Lapsed contracts cost real money.

  • 02

    Charge opacity.

Third-party charges make up most of an electricity bill. Few customers can validate them line by line — and the calculation rules change every year.

  • 03

    Half-hourly data isolated.

Consumption data lives in supplier portals. Baseload, peak windows, DUoS bands — the insights you actually need never get surfaced.

What it does

Six capabilities, one platform.

AI contract extraction

Drop a PDF or zip. Get structured data: MPAN, supplier, dates, unit rate, standing charge, annual consumption. Handles multi-meter PDFs and term-vs-annual pitfalls.

Third-party charges engine

The full UK TPC stack as 16 modular calculators — DUoS, TNUoS, BSUoS, CCL, CfD, RO, FiT, CM, AAHEDC, NRAB, DC/DA, Elexon, EII Levy, CfD OpEx, CM Settlement.

Half-hourly analytics

Baseload detection (10th percentile), day-type profiles, peak/off-peak splits, load duration curves, weekly trends, DUoS red/amber/green band breakdowns.

Multi-meter tracking

MPAN/MPRN register, property numbers, COT status, current and future contract pipeline. One source of truth across an entire estate.

Supplier alias normalisation

TGP, Total, TotalEnergies — all rolled into one canonical supplier row. Bulk meter assignment by MPAN/MPRN.

Branded landlord portal

White-label per landlord — logo, configurable tab access, admin and viewer roles. Their data, your platform.

Audience 01

Built for portfolios with hundreds of low-consumption meters.

HMO landlords, build-to-rent operators, student housing providers, co-living groups. The pain isn’t a single complex bill — it’s the volume of contracts, suppliers and properties moving in different directions at once.

ECBS360 holds the whole estate in one register. Contract sprawl becomes a unified view. Supplier-to-supplier transitions are tracked through change of tenancy. Landlord-margin uplifts are calculated automatically. Renewal windows surface before they lapse.

  • Property-level rollup with current and future contract state
  • Change-of-tenancy workflow from notice to live billing
  • Bulk import — drop a meter list, ECBS360 creates the records
  • Landlord-margin uplift calculation on every billable charge

Audience 02

Built for single sites where every settlement period matters.

Industrial and commercial sites on half-hourly metering. The bill is no longer a unit rate plus standing charge — it’s a stack of regulated charges, network charges and supplier margin, applied across 17,520 settlement periods a year.

ECBS360 reads your HH data and reconstructs every line of the supplier’s bill from first principles. Each of the sixteen regulated and network charges runs through its own calculator — DUoS, TNUoS, BSUoS, CCL, CfD, RO, FiT, CM, AAHEDC, NRAB, DC/DA, Elexon, EII Levy and the rest — kept in step with the rate updates that publish each April.

Where the supplier’s number doesn’t match ours, we flag it. Where it does, you have the audit trail. Every charge is broken down by period, time-band and rate reference, so a quarterly bill becomes a transparent stack you can interrogate, dispute, and forecast against.

  • Line-item TPC reconstruction across all 16 regulated and network charge types
  • DUoS red / amber / green band breakdown with PES-region time windows
  • Max-demand monitoring with capacity-overage alerting
  • Peak / off-peak / settlement-period cost decomposition
  • Annual rate updates folded in automatically — no manual rebuilds
  • Bill-vs-calculated reconciliation, line-level flags, exportable to PDF

For your customers

Your customers get a portal, too.

Each landlord or end-customer gets a portal showing only their own properties — under your branding, with the tabs you choose to expose. Admin and viewer roles, two-factor authentication, role-gated data.

How it works

Three steps to a working portal.

01

Upload your contracts and meter list.

PDFs, Excel, CSV, or a zip archive. AI extracts the structured data — MPAN, supplier, dates, rates — and flags anything that needs review.

02

Connect your half-hourly data.

Upload CSV per meter, or set up automated supplier-portal ingestion. Site-list customers can run on monthly bills alone.

03

Get a portal.

Dashboards, validation, and a full third-party-charge breakdown — for you, and optionally for your end-customers under your brand.
